IFAW's CLAW project is the lone beacon of hope for the animal population of many of the poverty-stricken townships surrounding Johannesburg, South Africa. Mired in hardship, people living here cannot afford proper care for their dogs and cats. Cora Bailey, De Villiers Katywa and a handful of dedicated staff are the "People of Dogs." They spend their days out in the field caring for animals whose owners are unable to bring them to the clinic for treatment. Follow the team as they deliver medicine to sick animals, investigate purveyors of rat poison and receive requests for humanitarian aid. For more info visit http://ifaw.org
