A free seminar entitled ?How to Raise Money,? will be hosted by the Wayne Brown Institute (WBI) on April 11, 2012. This event deals with the tough issues of raising money in Utah and features venture professionals in an open Q and A.
The presenters will discuss current trends, the fundraising process, finding the right investor and how to raise capital from an investor. Also, the seminar will introduce the importance of a business plan, what sources of capital are right for your business, the five Fs, Angels and Venture Capitalists, business structure and raising money legally.
Presenters will include a legal investor, someone from the lending and grants community and a serial entrepreneur.
?Entrepreneurs have the chance to get the correct answers to all their questions from the right people,? said Brad Bertoch, President of WBI.
The two hour event will commence on April 11th at 3:30 at the Miller Business Innovation Center 9750 South 300 West ? third floor, Sandy, Utah.
