Here are two more great tracks to make up for last Saturday?s non-post. One?s a punk anthem that was on repeat on my iPhone for months and another one wraps anger in a chilled-out, mellow song whose chorus will have you singing along.
I Was A Teenage Anarchist is my favorite song off Against Me!?s White Crosses album. It?s energetic, impactful and perfect for jumping around to. I also like shopping to this. It?s great hitting the stores pumped up by this kick-ass track.
I think most everyone can relate to this. It?s the mellow cousin of Alanis Morissette?s You Oughta Know. Its chorus is simple and pure genius. Ani DiFranco?s quiet approach to this song offers a stark contrast to the subject matter. So go on and sing along and put this on repeat. It?s also prefect for days when you want to be a little passive-aggressive.
